Country living is something very special that many people today have either forgotten about or never knew. That's a pity because country living is connected with real-life values that are often lost in today's world of crowded cities and stressful living. That's where crime comes from.

Governments are telling people what their values should be and managing their lives in ways that make people feel disempowered and cut off from reality. Children are growing up thinking that milk comes from the store and, as the saying goes "The woman who buys her meat in the supermarket has never seen the brown eye of the cow."

We need to think about taking responsibility for who we are, what we do and what we consume - and what we are passing on to our children by way of values and behaviours.
